    Romare Bearden

    Romare Bearden drew on his personal observations of the rural South and urban North to produce art that reflected his experiences. Music was one of his great loves; the thirty-two images here include Back in Kansas City, Blues at the Crossroads, and Wrapping It Up at the Lafayette.
